Solidus has named Brian Flemming, 44, a principal and part owner of the firm. He will retain his title as chief operating officer and continue to lead Solidus’ operations, department heads, and administrative support staff.
Flemming has more than 20 years’ experience in business ownership and construction management. A graduate of Colorado State University, he holds an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a professional certificate in Business Strategy and Accounting from Cornell University. A father of three, Flemming and his wife reside in West Hartford. He also serves as a board member of Children in Placement Inc., which serves children in the child welfare system across Connecticut.

Solidus is a licensed general contractor that designs, builds, and brands corporate and retail spaces for financial institutions. The growing company employs 35 and works with community banks and credit unions located primarily in the northeastern United States, as well as Ohio and Virginia.
